Qualifications
     & Skill Set

• BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) in Illustration, with a focus in Editorial and Advertising design.  

• Graduated Magna Cum Laude, with High University honors

• Educated in various artistic eras, styles, and mediums; completing general as well as specialty courses: Art History, Concept Design, Materials and Techniques, Graphic Design, 3D Design etc.

• Satisfied degree requirements along with hours of professional  experience working with traditional mediums. Includes: Charcoal, Paint, Graphite, Watercolor, colored pencil, pastels, cut paper, linoleum carving, plaster, and wood. 

• I find traditional materials are the most enchanting way to discover and experience the best of art.

• Served as Head of Art Department for a Private Middle School and High School. Teaching a range of seven classes such as, Drawing and Painting, Ceramics, Foundations, Art History, and Advanced Placement Art (AP). AP artist spent a year constructing a question based concentration from ideation to final.

• Instructing students on techniques and guiding them through the artistic processes of tactical art.

• Hand selected by SCAD to be Lead Illustrator on collaborative projects with Fidelity Investments and The Home Depot.  

• Led a team of illustrators in designing, drawing, presenting, modifying, and finalizing a creative solution to the ask brought forth by Fidelity Investments.

• Also chosen and tasked with the exploration and marketing of a new facet of The Home Depot app/shopping experience.

• Satisfied degree requirements along with hours of professional freelance experience in Adobe Creative Suite. Includes: Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.

• Also proficient in app formats such as Procreate.

• Each project requires its own unique digital aspect or solution but the ability to leverage digital applications to expand the success of the creative process is always required.

• Small business exploring the creative craft in three dimensions, by repurposing antiques, family heirlooms, and everyday items. Creating a functional new "Upcycled" item.
